Our Story
Introduction
El-Hussein family have been operating a family business in the Egyptian textile industry since 1958. We buy raw fibers, both man-made & natural, & process them into high quality yarns of many different characteristics, colors & mélanges. Some of these yarns are sold to our esteemed customers while the rest are further processed into high quality fabrics, which are then expertly dyed according to market demand.

Founder’s Story
Mr. Abdalla Hussein Abdalla began with a humble weaving mill, called El-Hussein Tex (HT), in 1958. He bought his own shop after almost 30 years in Al-Azhar market, now called Abdalla Hussein & Sons Store, which has been open since 1986. As a result of his determination & high sales, Mr. Abdalla managed to grow & improve in 1991 & created a comprehensive weaving mill that includes a dye-house & finishing plant.
The Future
Mr. Abdalla’s sons hard work & dedication allowed them to further expand the family business by venturing into the ring-spun yarn manufacturing industry. In 1998 they established Modern Company for Spinning (MCS) in Obour City, a sizable mill that produces made-made ring-spun yarns. Then, to compete in the tough & constantly advancing international market, they acquired 44’000 m2 in 2006, in Badr City, to build a streamlined, state-of-the-art mill. United Group for Spinning, Weaving & Finishing (UG) is where all the cotton/man-made blend, & some man-made, ring-spun yarns are produced & a new & upgraded weaving mill was built, while El-Hussein Tex acts as a temporary extension & dye-house for it. Today, MCS & UG work hand-in-hand to provide customers with high quality yarns & fabrics with endless possibilities.
Our vision is to build an all-inclusive mill where raw fibers are manufactured into end-use products under the same roof……& we are close.
